BG Eraser requires access to your device's photo gallery and camera solely to allow you to select or capture images for background removal. All image processing is performed entirely on your device using an on-device AI model. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party platform. No image data leaves your device at any time.

Camera Permission

The app requests camera access to allow you to take photos directly within the app. This permission is used exclusively for image capture. Camera data is not recorded, stored remotely, or transmitted.

Storage Permission

The app requests storage access to save edited images to your device's gallery. This permission is used exclusively for reading images you select and writing images you export. No files are accessed beyond what you explicitly choose.

On-Device Processing

BG Eraser uses a neural network model (U2NetP) that runs entirely on your device. The AI model is bundled with the app and does not require an internet connection to function. No data is sent to external servers for processing.

Internet Access

BG Eraser does not require internet access to function. The app works completely offline. If the app requests network permissions, these are used solely by third-party libraries for optional functionality and not for transmitting your personal data or images.

Third-Party Services

BG Eraser does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar services.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, we are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data to retain. Images you edit are stored only on your device in your local gallery. You have full control over these files and can delete them at any time through your device's file manager or gallery app.

Because all processing occurs on your device and no data is transmitted to external servers, your images and personal information remain under your control at all times. The security of your data depends on the security measures of your own device.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or export. You maintain complete ownership and control of all content created with the app.
